2016-Present: Elevated to top marketing position for leading analytics consulting company, responsible for all marketing, communications, and content strategy and execution. During my tenure, Blast has experienced more than 100% growth in revenue and staff. In 2021, I was responsible for the launch of BlastX, the company’s new experience-focused brand and solution offering. In addition, I’ve contributed to Blast becoming a Great Place to Work-Certified company and member of the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies.

2010-2016: Led multi-business unit marketing, communications, and content for global engineering company, focused on increasing awareness, revenue, and employee engagement. My work helped the company achieve a 74% recall of company capabilities upon brand repositioning and messaging. I also led a critical change management initiative to support organizational restructure, helped roll out the company’s 2020 strategic vision, and developed “The Kleinfelder Experience” to connect employees with company purpose and work.

2004-2010: Successfully owned and operated a communications consultancy, working with diverse clients to execute strategic marketing, communications, and content. This included expert messaging, writing, and editing support. Serving a range of companies from Fortune 500 to startup, I was trusted by leading brands including ADM, Chevron, Intel, Marvell, Oracle, Polycom, and others. Specifically, I helped one long-term client increase content volume for internal and external communications by 2x.

2002-2004: Managed all corporate, marketing, and internal communications for nonprofit corporation employing people with disabilities. I helped drive positive brand awareness for our mission-focused work, 19% average annual revenue growth, and the launch of new service lines. I also served as trusted advisor to the CEO and his leadership team, supporting the execution of key employee-focused activity and events, while also representing PRIDE in the local communities.

2000-2002: Managed marketing and communications for wireless multimedia startup company. My work helped create a $25 million new market opportunity through acquisition of ShareWave by Cirrus Logic, as a result of improved internal and external positioning. I also executed a national media relations program, as well as tradeshows and events.

1996-2000: Helped enterprise software company achieve record-setting revenue and rapid business growth — from million- to billion-dollar — as part of award-winning marketing and communications team, supporting company-wide stakeholders. I also assisted with major corporate events, product launches, public relations, and internal initiatives.

1994-1996: Worked as marketing writer and communications specialist for financial services software company. I helped produce all corporate and marketing communications, led media relations and advertising with business and trade publications, and managed company’s customer database and communications.

1993-1994: Hired as an intern for energy company’s large Corporate and Public Affairs organization. Specifically, I wrote and edited articles for company magazines, employee bulletins, and other communications, as well as coordinating daily news and media coverage for executives, company management, and employees.

Not only did you deliver quality and timely work, but you were also very easy and fun to work with.
